ทุกวันนี้ปัญหาของวัยรุ่นรุนแรงและซับซ้อนมาก  เป็นเพราะการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็วทั้งด้านกายภาพ  เศรษฐกิจและสังคมเมือง  ประกอบกับวัยรุ่นเป็นช่วงหัวเลี้ยวหัวต่อของการเจริญเติบโตมีความเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านร่างกาย  จิตใจ  และอารมณ์  ทำให้วัยรุ่นประสบปัญหามากมาย  ทั้งนี้ปัญหาที่สำคัญของวัยรุ่นในปัจจุบันที่เกิดขึ้นบ่อยที่สุดคือ ปัญหาเรื่องยาเสพติด และการควบคุมอารมณ์ ซึ่งมีสาเหตุสำคัญจากปัญหาครอบครัว  สภาพแวดล้อมใกล้ตัวที่ชักจูงไปในทางไม่ดี   และการใช้ความรุนแรงในการทะเลาะวิวาท 😭
