Relationship is the essence of life. Without a genuine relationship with anyone,  it is almost certain such a person will not live long. Relationship with God, friends,  loved partner,  family or child; in whatsoever manner, we have relationships that makes us feel better about ourselves.  However, this article will not focus on the Spiritual. On the contrary,  relationships we have with one another. Here are a few reasons why many relationships break and the way forward:

#### 1. Lack Of Trust

Trust is the solid ground and foundation of all good relationships. Trust is very crucial in the development of any relationship. No matter the level, once trust is withdrawn, everything else deteriorate. In a nutshell,  without trust,  no relationship stands. 

#### 2. Lack Of Communication

Communication is beyond simply the transfer and sharing of information. Communication here is about *rubbing minds together*. When people barely talk or stay in touch with one another,  such relationship grow cold.

#### 3. Ego

Too much self love and pride gives an egoistic feeling. An egotistical feeling about oneself makes other worth less in our view. In the light of these, one refuse to make move about a dent in a relationship pushing blame and responsibilities to the other partner. A very good relationship is just an one without  containing the cancerous word called ego.

#### 4. Inability To Satisfy

Ability to satisfy makes a relationship grow. Although,  no one is satiable but relationship can be very frustrating when a member or partner does what that does not satisfy the other be it in monetary terms, sex, attention or conduct. What creates more damage is the unwillingness for the doer to change. 

#### 5. Lack Of Patience

Patience is the most important factor here. Lack of patience breaks things up. When people cannot get along due to their impatient nature,  it is almost certain they will *never* do regardless of what they have in common. 

#### Way Forward? 
While 5 points are being reviewed here,  there exist many reasons why many relationships fail. However,  focusing on the brighter side,  we can always get better and make it work. The way forward gets easy when the actual problem has been identified. Knowing what and where the fault is,  make move regardless of your innocence. Say it to the other person as responsibly as you can and discuss it. Walking away is never a solution. Sometimes,  walking away may be the worsted decision one could ever make.
