<p> <div class = "text-justify"> Every day Artificial Intelligence covers more and more aspects of our daily path, it does not offer more solutions than we could have imagined before, now with the incursion of AI in sports , there is much that we can solve in advance through predictive models providing new benefits and great experiences. </div>

<p> <div class = "text-justify"> The followers and fans of some sport and the people who practice some sport discipline, we know that on many occasions it is necessary to measure the performance of the athlete or practitioner and in turn it is necessary to determine which ones are the factors that could be affecting performance. </div>


<p> <div class = "text-justify"> We can also talk about the possibility of receiving monitored online classes directed by AI to receive them at home, now that due to the pandemic, concentrations of people in gyms and sports clubs are prohibited . </div>

### What does Artificial Intelligence bring to Sport?

<p> <div class = "text-justify"> The first thing we can mention is the <strong>measurement of the athlete's performance</strong>, through the “reproduction of his practice or play” where the athlete and his coach can review the movements and strategies, including they can detect potential failures and apply the correction for better performance. </div>

<p> <div class = "text-justify"> AI can provide applications with complex algorithms that can predict "a move" and can suggest "moves" and recommend "the energy needed in a move" and this would be the case of baseball pitchers. </div>


<p> <div class = "text-justify"> It is also possible <strong>to predict the results</strong> of a match by analyzing the record of the movements in real time of a match and in a few minutes to anticipate results based on a simulation. The data necessary for this simulation is collected by video cameras and sensors that record each movement of the players and with this it is enough to run the simulation of the end of the game in advance. </div>

<p> <div class = "text-justify"> In the same vein, <strong>lesions can also be predicted and resolved before they happen</strong>, I think this is the best part. Starting with existing smart watches that monitor heart rate, number of steps and calories consumed, to algorithms that can predict when a player will suffer an injury taking into account the record of injuries previously suffered by a player, performance data and performance during practices and matches played, and variables associated with their health condition and age, which through a complex correlation can help coaches and make decisions about the athlete's conditions and the matches to be played. </div>

Greetings @ tocho2, I think very important that AI helps sports in general , to prevent injuries , future cardiac complications and even prevent the deaths of some athlete , However if AI is used for other purposes such as espionage within the big teams would lose the sporting essence the lime is to play and win by their own means without doing foul play .

I believe one of the best uses for AI in sports generally is detecting the movement of a player, analyze it, and figure out what should be improved or if something wrong in that particular person movement or breaths. Yesterday I read an article talking about a mask that players use in training that records their breathing in every movement or moment so they can use all their energy and avoid getting tired easily.
