# Hello Friends..!

<p><div class="text-justify"> As its name implies, we are talking about artificial intelligence applied to industry in broad strokes, imagine the impact that this could have in the areas of manufacturing and factories, food, beverage and agricultural supplies industries, oil and energy industry; and logically we expect a positive impact that will significantly influence an increase in production.

At least it is the expectation that I keep and I share with you in this post today. </div>

### What does the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) bring?

<p><div class="text-justify"> As we already know, the Internet of Things are devices that are connected and performing activities and actions without human intervention, so in the case of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) we cannot expect less, only in this The case is about industrial instrumentation, sensors, meters, controllers, consoles and commands that are connected to the internet through the use of applications and obviously industrial utility software. </div>

### So how does the IIoT currently work?

<p><div class="text-justify"> Let's start with clarifying the notable and obvious difference between Artificial Intelligence and the Industrial Internet of Things, since AI has already been in our hands for a few years, we can see that it is aimed at satisfying consumer needs, as well as do some chores; In the case of IIoT, we can guess that it is aimed at controlling and optimizing industrial processes, increasing the margin of safety in the execution of said activities.

For the aforementioned we could then list a brief list of those offered in IIoT for industries currently: </div>

<p><div class="text-justify"> 

* Creation of large databases that allow establishing antecedents and records associated with the processes, as well as reliability records.
* Records, diagnostics, analysis and optimization of production.
* Reduction of manufacturing / production costs and other operating costs.
* Integrated management platform for the execution and monitoring of production processes, logistics and transport processes until deliveries in the hands of the end customer. </div>

### Future trend of the IIoT

<p><div class="text-justify"> Two important aspects can be predicted as a future trend of the IIoT, the creation of digital models of the industries that would come to represent a complete replica from the production chain to the supply; and second, a breakthrough towards hyper-automation (this will be my next topic). Even this could already be happening while I finish writing my post. </div>

<p><div class="text-justify"> My country, Venezuela, many years ago was a pioneer in the industrialization of oil in Latin America, and at this time I idealize our large oil platform with magnificent facilities throughout the country, making the best use of IIoT to optimize extraction processes, production, marketing and effective management of our main product "black gold", better known as oil. </div>

the industries face a number of challenges in terms of the security of the internet they use. I remember hearing about software that could manipulate companies' thermostats to cause machinery to overheat, and this is a serious issue as industries face security challenges because many countries pay to damage an industry or steal trade secrets.
