Life has many choices, paths and roads. Choosing the life of a artist can be a hard road, I'm not sure if I'd recommend it to many people. 

The only issue is as a artist. you must create. **A true artist can be effected mentally if they don't get enough creative outlet.** Leaving you feeling lost, empty or depressed. 

This can be a very scary place, I've been here before from overworking, stress or just being tired.

I feel there is a section of society that feeds off creativity. Something the average 9/5 job can't understand or reward.

 This puts lots of people in a dark place, making them feel trapped. Even worse society calls most creative people **"lazy"** and tells them to **"get a real job".** 

You end up trying to feed your creativity after work and burnt out from dealing with the kids. It's hard to be fully creative at that point, you're just not 100%. 

You do what art you can, when you can.  Picking up the little income you can from various online services, side jobs or whatever you can scrap up.  **You tell yourself that's life**, this is all my art will ever be.  

**This can really kill your creative drive, dropping it to empty.**

   **Steemit and the blockchain** has a chance to break these walls down for many creative people. Spawning many new creative projects, business and entrepreneurs. 

Setting many people free from the cycle that has kept creative minded people trapped for so many years. **Steemit** is a true revolution and has the chance to create a huge shift in society. I believe this shift can be for the better if we all aim to do this together !

**Steemit changed my life in one month.** There is a good chance I can go full time content creation very soon, making my future and art feel limitless. 

The freedom of choice is a very powerful thing, it's something I've never had before. I've always been locked into what I have to do, what I need to do. I can't thank **Steemit** enough.

**The blockchain has done this for many people already and the revolution is still very young.**

We're all lucky to be part of this platform at a early stage, **Steemit** isn't something you wanted to be sleeping on. The early adopters have seen life changing results, now it's time to change the world.

I've stated my first main goal here is a **Steemit** based record label, Nothing but Dirt ( https://www.nbdrecords.com/ ). This was never possible before **Steemit** and the blockchain. Giving the chance to reshape the idea of a label, smashing down barriers. This is only the start of something huge for many **Steemit** artist.
