Let's consider this scripture together; 3 John 1:3-6...

>Verse 3: It gave me great joy when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the truth, telling how you continue to walk in it.

> Verse 4: I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

>Verse 5: Dear friend, you are faithful in what you are doing for the brothers and sisters, even though they are strangers to you.

>Verse 6: They have told the church about your love. Please send them on their way in a manner that honors God.

Faithfulness is one of the attributes of God therefore, we who believe in Him should be faithful in all aspects of life. The word faithfulness as to do with dependability and loyalty particularly as it describes God in relationship to human beings. Faithfulness is the fruit of our faith in God's faithfulness.

As Christians and believers of the gospel, our absolutely faithfulness should be channelled towards God. In our services to God, we should always be faithful. When we are faithful to God, He will definitely bless our lives. We should not try to rob God and do His business the way we like or deem it fit. 
____

Also, in expressing our faithfulness to God, we should have no other god besides the Almighty God. God alone is worthy to be praised, worshipped and adored. Sadly today, many people are serving other things and being faithful to them rather than God. 

How do we know that you have another God?

Whatever you tend to value so much such that it takes the place of God has become a god for you. Anything that you cannot do without is a god to you. You feel like dying if you don't have or do a particular God. God should be the only being we are desperate to have and serve. Nothing else.

To some, their god is money, their business, parents, friends etc. Some Christians tend to be more faithful to these things rather than being faithful to God Almighty. We ought to be faithful to worshipping the true and living God alone. Make no image to worship. 
____

Secondly, in expressing faithfulness to God, we ought to love God sincerely and from the depth of our hearts. Our love for God should not only be in the public but even when we are alone. We should love God with all our hearts, with all our souls, with all our might and with all that we have and will have.

Any Christian who does not love God with all his heart, soul and mind is not faithful to God. It pays to be faithful to God, there's no man or woman that remains faithful to God that God would not beautify his or her life. 

Even when things are not going too well with you, do not run to the devil for help, do not denounce your faith because of mere wealth and other perishable things. Always remain faithful to God no matter what.

It's necessary that we express our faithfulness to God. Do not just be a faithful Christian with words of the mouth but be faithful by your deeds and actions towards the gospel.
