greetings to the PH community, I hope you are well especially now that things seem to be going in a different direction with respect to the virus, many countries are already normalising things and that is good for the economies of the countries, but for the economy of the families that were already adapted to a dynamic of reduced spending in which transport costs had been reduced and the expenses derived from going out with friends does not seem to be going to improve, Now that everything seems to be back to normal, we have to be very careful with the small expenses that the return to normality will entail.

Some time ago Benjamin Franklin talked about small expenses and mentioned that no matter how small an expense is, if it is recurrent, like a hole in a ship it can end up sinking the ship, but what are those expenses? Well, the first thing we need to know is that in modern life you cannot live without spending, you have to spend on paying for services such as electricity, water, domestic gas, telephone rent and many other expenses that allow you to have access to basic services and a modern lifestyle.


these expenses can be budgeted monthly and with the payment of your salary you can cover these expenses, but if we do not control these expenses that are fixed, when we add the variable expenses, which are all the expenses that we make but we have no way to budget them in the month, for example if the refrigerator breaks down we have to pay a technician to repair it, this expense cannot be foreseen, there are also other expenses that normally we do not know and that if we do not control the fixed expenses when adding the variable ones then we will have economic solvency problems.

Another example of these expenses are cravings for sweets or buying something you don't need but want, these are the most dangerous expenses because we don't see them as dangerous, a person can double their monthly expenses just with these expenses that seen individually don't seem to affect, but as Franklin said, "no matter how small the hole, it can sink a ship".

 As entrepreneurs seeking financial freedom we must have a spending plan that allows us to know what our monthly commitments are, with this plan you can know how much you need to earn at least in a month, another thing that can help us is to create a monthly Budget with information on fixed expenses,   In this way we will stop the small expenses that seem harmless but are actually very dangerous for us.

with the spending plan and the budget we will be ready to face the economic change that is coming as a result of the reactivation of the economy in the country, it is sad to see that most people do not give value to a budget as this is one of the best tools to control finances, budgets allow you to see where are those expenses that often complicate things, if you are one of those people who will return to work after the pandemic I recommend that you create a budget before the family economy changes, if you do not know how to do one on youtube there are many people who can teach you, do not let the change knocks on your door and you are not prepared.
