<p class="p1">Hi Everyone,</p>
<p class="p1">The journey to Steemfest. As many of you know, I am flying all the way to Europe from Australia. It’s been awhile since we last visited Europe so knowing that the event will be in Europe this year was exciting. But I also had a dilemma. Do I go alone or bring the kids?</p>

<p class="p1">At first, my partner wants to come with me and leave the kids with my parents meaning I won’t see my kids for however long we will be in Europe (at that time of discussing, max 2 weeks). Then I don’t feel is right and my parents thought 2 weeks is a long time to have the kids especially they both stick onto me so not sure how they will react in not seeing me for 2 weeks. Then I thought, I’ll go by myself since my husband goes overseas for his work and I have to deal with the kids myself but that idea was banned instantly by my other half saying he is tagging along *rolls eyes*. So in the end, we decided to make a big family trip out of it and meet some friends along the journey.</p>
<p class="p1">Traveling with the kids makes each journey potentially longer and need to be planned. We wanted to get to Europe with the least stopovers and the longer leg of the flight needed to be overnight as they can sleep most of the journey (they are ok sleepers especially baby E can sleep sitting up/anywhere). Another factor we need to think about is the cost of the air tickets because I want to buy a seat for my little one even though he is under 2, he is an annoying fatty baby so I can’t see myself or my husband holding onto him the whole flight</p>
<p class="p1">After check out the air tickets and flight times, the best flight time and reasonable ticket priced was with Qatar Airways. We haven’t flown with them before so it will be a new experience for us as we normally use the Emirates.</p>
<p class="p1">Once we get to Prague (our first stop) we will pick up our car and will drive around to different cities and will end up in Krakow for Steemfest. We have booked most of our accommodation through Airbnb as we wanted more room for our kids, a kitchen is needed to make simple meals and milk and most importantly, the laundry. Along the way, our friends will meet up with us on a weekend when they have some time off from work. Unfortunately, another friend couldn’t make it to any cities we are going to as the airplane tickets are too expensive during the school holidays in London.</p>
<p class="p1">We will then be driving up to Krakow from Slovakia after we have traveled with our friends. Planning this whole trip was not easy compared to the last time we went before having kids. Its a long journey but it is definitely worth it and I’m sure we will all have a great time!</p>
