Everywhere in the world there are places that have really been abandoned and only recently found again. One of these places are the graves on Sri Lanka, which lie beside the famous rock Sigirya. A stone's throw away, actually. 

You can only see the small remains of the buildings. The outlines of the houses and a kind of temple with a round roof are also there. Which I find very interesting. 

We were lucky and there really wasn't a soul there. Between the trees alone it is very different from hundreds of tourists walking through these old finds at the same time...

Überall auf der Welt gibt es Orte, die wirklich verlassen und erst vor kurzem wieder gefunden worden sind. Eine dieser Orte sind die Gräber auf Sri Lanka, die neben dem berühmten Felsen Sigirya liegen. Eigentlich ein Steinwurf entfernt. 

Man kann nur noch die kleinen Reste der Gebäude sehen. Die Umrisse der Häuser und einen Art Tempel mit rundem Dach ist ebenso dort. Was ich sehr interessant finde. 

Wir hatten Glück und wirklich keine Menschenseele war dort. Zwischen den Bäumen ganz alleine ist das ganz anders, als wenn hier hunderte Touristen gleichzeitig auch durch diese alten Funde laufen...
