Helping at the local homeless shelter

I have helped at the homeless shelter two times in my life and it's something I would like to do again although I may not have a chance to do it this year.

At the least I am going to donate cans in the next couple days so that the unfortunate are able to have food for the Holidays.

It's easy to only think about yourself sometimes but it feels better to share and help others. This is the time of the year we should be doing that.

I wasn't able to help out as mentioned before but I honestly had silent thoughts and prayers for all those out there who couldn't have a warm meal on Thanksgiving.
