Original photo, no filter. This shot here was quite difficult to take exactly the way I wanted to different factors played a part. 

There was this gigantic palm tree that covered quite a large area so what I did was walk up underneath it and aim my camera up towards the sky. 

What made the shot difficult to take was I was trying to get to the edge of the canopy so I could capture the blue sky rather than just point upward and all you see nothing but the leaves of the palm tree. 

The leaves are pretty unique themselves, look at the colors, green and yellow, different shades and burnt tips from the sun beating down as well as the recent high winds in the area.
