After a wonderful day on the beach, we decided to pack up and go to the Pismo Beach Oyster Loft jut a few miles down the way. Half of our entourage wasn't in the mood so they went back to camp, the rest of us in pursuit of some good food.

They have a full menu with plenty of seafood options, but we came to the loft for the oysters! They cost $15.50 for a half dozen. They are delivered fresh daily.

Here are a few we decided to go with:

Capitol Reserve from Spencer Cove, Washington, crisp brine with creamy meat and a sweet finish. Paraside from Baynes Sound, BC, Canada, plump and sweet with a cool, crisp finish. And last but certainly not least we went with the Mission from San Quintin, Baja California, firm, full bodies meat with a deep cup. A great time with friends.
