I see a lot of people talking about problems and this problem and that problem and this one needs to be solved before we can move on to that one and oh my gosh, what will we do when x problem arises!

I'd like to bring this discussion back to a notion that I've talked about several times here on my blog:


This is the notion of being a polymath. The notion of being so good at learning and general skills that you can be incredible no matter what situation you're dropped in.

Navy Seals are trained to deal with insane encounters. Unthinkable events and situations.

You know how they train for that?

By putting  themselves through hell.

When you put yourself through hell, you get so much stronger. It's not even possible to explain in words the feeling that you get knowing that you can survive and thrive in situations that others would deem impossible.

With this said, I challenge you today. I challenge you to do at least 1 thing that completely stretches you out of your comfort zone and in fact, shatters your comfort zone.

If you normally read for 20 minutes, then read for 2 hours. Don't accept anything less than the goal you set for yourself.

If you write for 1 hour, write for 4 hours instead. 

Challenge yourself. Break what you think is possible. I guarantee you that what you consider to be impossible is actually completely possible for you to achieve and thrive. 

A great example is writing for me... I used to think that writing so many posts every day would be an impossible challenge, but now that I do it, I honestly feel like I can take it even to the next level beyond!

It's all about perspective.
