One of the toughest things to do is explain the Steem blockchain to someone who doesn’t know anything about it.

I saw a post today by my man Exyle. He was making a vlog and trying to explain the Steem blockchain to a potential.

A potential being someone who has no knowledge whatsoever of the Steem blockchain.

This is a hard thing to do.

There is so much lingo. So many different ideas and apps and use cases.

There are just so many things to learn about the Steem blockchain. 

It’s complex. It’s extremely different compared to any other social platform.

It’s not like signing up to Instagram where you just give them your email and you’re off...

It’s much more involved than that. It’s much more complex than that.

Steem is an entire ecosystem. It incorporates “banking” like features into a platform that allows for usage of apps spanning a variety of use cases.

Thus, getting a Steem account is much harder than just making a social media account.

The difficulty is more like trying to set up a bank account (although, I’d argue it’s easier to get a Steem account than a bank account).
