Time flies!!  As the old saying goes. Seconds to days, days to weeks, and soon another year gone by. With optimism mixed with passing regret I sit and write this post thinking on what could have been for me over the past year on Steemit. I think on all the opportunities to gain followers and Steemians to follow, all the great posts that I missed out on, the knowledge that I could have acquired, the people that I could have interacted with, the posts that I could have made, the fun contests that could have been. It is certainly, difficult at times especially (when you can't articulate thoughts to words) to present good material that people would like and then discouragement sets in and you give up. For me, that wasn't the case. I was caught up in many things in life and didn't use my time wisely. We should redeem time because it is something that we cannot recover. We should invest time in things that make for a better future for us and coming generations. We should not forget to have fun in the things that we do, learning to enjoy the simple.  It has been a couple of weeks now since I have been back on Steemit and it is a starting over process. Learning the ropes, participating in discussion, reading some good articles, taking part in contests. I must say that I have a had an encouraging experience so far. I have done some wild and strange things like getting my picture taken in a bathtub; wouldn't you know I received some Steem for it as well. I sang a couple of songs even wrote an original that I plan on adding too. I have been able to share some photos and see some great ones taken by others, plus write a little bit about a vacation that my family just took. This upcoming week I will be going to a Steemit Meetup in Wisconsin.
