That might be your reaction eventually but not initially. If you love someone enough to be in a relationship with them, then there is a kind of obligation you owe to each other. It's wrong that a partner who claimed to love you would zoom leaving just a note. But I agree with you, love is given not taken. If a person decides to take their love back, it's up to them.
