He, Feyhaman Duran is the first and most important representative of portrait art in Turkish painting. Color and pattern harmony are striking in their works which reflect an impressionistic conception. At the same time, it is the painter who made the most beautiful Atatürk portraits.

Celaleddin Arif Bey, this portrait yo see, is the last President of the Ottoman Parliament. Celaleddin Arif Bey made a law doctor in France, then returned to Istanbul and chaired the last Ottoman Parliament. After the declaration of the Republic, he was in conflict with Mustafa Kemal for his parliamentary presidency. Maybe this is the name that Mustafa Kemal mentioned in the Nutuk that he worked against us. Celaleddin Bey, who is interested in drawing pictures from Europe, also establishes friendship and portraits with Feyhaman Duran.
