I can copy this message and post it on my page, it may be worth a penny or two, but if hundreds read it and upvote it, it will be worth a lot more, and that value gets distributed to everyone who interacts with it to varying degrees. It is this most amazing jiu-jitsu on conventional Western capitalism (or maybe it's aikido)- rewarding ALL participation, and the individual contributor most of all. Member experiences aren't universally positive, but the system's designed to swamp the negative with positive results. It IS an incredible rabbit-hole, but NOT any kind of WASTE of time, more like better or not-as-good investment of time and effort.
