Take a look of a Classic: Age of Empires

<div class="text-justify">Age of Empires, what can we say of this incredible game one of the great classics of Ensemble Studios and distributed by Microsoft Games Studios, those memories when you surpassed all the campaigns and after some practice you easily defeated Artificial Intelligence and believing you were a good player realizing after playing in the multiplayer with friends, acquaintances or people from other parts of the world that it was not as easy as you expected...and you ended up defeated or not surpassing your expectations, well many of us have had this happen to us with this game or that, but as I have already mentioned, this game was created by Ensemble Studios and is currently closed, it created other strategy games such as Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, Age of Mythology and Halo Wars.</div>

<div class="text-justify">To be able to control different civilizations, to build buildings and your army and to be able to fight against the others, all of the above seemed great to me because it was one of the first strategy games I played even though it had been a few years after its release because I didn't have the best of computers... But let's get on with the game, this game was not one of the first of the strategy genre because there was already Sid Meier's Civilization, Warcraft: Orcs & Humans by Blizzard Entertainment and Command & Conquer by Westwood Studios, but it also helped to make the genre better known and inspired games like Empire Earth, Starcraft, among others.</div>

Staged on a 3,000-year timeline, from the early Stone Age to the Iron Age. We can play campaigns with different civilizations such as Egypt, Greece, Babylon and Yamato (Ancient Japan), alone the player will have the option of choosing between twelve civilizations. You can see several types of civilizations which depending on your choice will favor certain strategies, for the simple reason that each one has bonuses that will be useful in the game, these are: Greece, Minoica, Phoenicia, Egypt, Assyria, Sumer, Babylon, Persia, Hittite, Shang (Ancient China), Choson and Yamato (Ancient Japan); or multiplayer (I guess there are people who still like this game and play it this way), the game has an expansion called "The Rise of Rome" which adds more civilizations, units, and technologies.

<div class="text-justify">As different requirements are met such as gathering resources or building different buildings can be advanced to later ages, this gives the possibility of new and better technologies and units needed to gain advantage over the enemy. There are 4 ages: Stone Age, Tool Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. Even though there was no button to see the inactive villagers, no production queues, no double-click production queues, no double-clicking groups of units to select from, it's still one of the best games I've tried and still worth the game's expansion and the following sequels of it, I hope you'll enjoy the game.</div>

This is one of those games I never got around to in my life. I know a couple of people growing up who swore by this game. I was always just in my own world playing other things. It really is great to go back and relive just for a little while our old and yet still loved games.
