Coconut water is a delicious, nutritious and natural beverage that’s extremely good for us. Coconut water is the juice found in the center of a young, green coconut. It helps nourish the fruit. As the coconut matures, some of the juice remains in liquid form while the rest ripens into the solid white flesh known as coconut meat.

It is one of the best drinks to combat summer heat and also serves as a powerful natural sports drink for an instant boost of energy. Coconut water is effective at replenishing fluids and electrolytes after exercise. It is comparable to other sports beverages. Coconut water contains two minerals that help balance fluids in the body, sodium and potassium. Potassium is important for heart health,when you get potassium from your normal diet, you get lots of other good stuff too, including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber.

Having fresh coconut water in the place of your regular morning and evening tea is a good option. Unlike other drinks, there’s no one best time to have coconut water. You can enjoy it during the day and even at night. Coconut water can be consumed directly from green coconuts or bought in bottles. Avoid brands with added sugar, sweeteners or flavors.

Consuming too much coconut water can cause bloating and stomach discomfort.
