I meant to put a bet on Ukraine winning the Eurovision months ago, I don't think it's about music at all just the popular or political vote hence why uk always comes last lol our music rly is not that bad, we might go up now and not be last every year since we sent quite a bit of aide.

I believe many already predicted that Ukraine will be a winner, at least it was already a winner of the hearts. It is often luck and often west European countries receive little but this time Sam was good, I am glad that he at least was higher voted.

No, it's not luck. The winner is known before they start. 

As this contest started it was mainly west European countries and they voted for what sounds good. Rules were set. Since years even countries not being European join and Eastern countries stick together, vote for each other, it's all about politics.

I agree. It's always a political event. Since years neighbour countries vote for neighbour countries and to me it's clear Ukraine would win. It's therefore not worth watching.

Yeah I did mean to put money on it so long ago as so obvious. Poor old Uk always does so bad even if we acruallt have a good song. Let’s be honest the one with blue was pretty good! I think we should just stop bothering entering tbh and spend the money on something more worthwhile

It's no longer what it was. Perhaps it's a good idea to let go of it and let Eastern Europe or whatever country likes to join continue with it. If voting would make the difference the people weren't allowed to vote.
