The answer to the question asked in school is that one sentence of Madam had been decided - "Come to almond food, Baba, memory will increase, remember!"
But you might not know that the benefits of eating walnut almonds are your next generation.
A study has found that the consumption of walnuts and almonds increases the quality of sperm.
Scientists have been able to increase the number of sperm count and quality of the person eating almonds, walnuts, for two consecutive weeks.
The study found that eating habits, smoking and pollution have reduced the number of sperm in the Western world. One of the seven couples has been experiencing difficulties in delivering a woman. About 40-50% of men found fertility problems.
However, researchers found that due to good and nutritious diet, this could be changed.
How did you study?
This study was done at the University of Rovira I Virgili in Spain. The scientists, who were in good health in the age group of 18 to 35 years, were divided into two groups for study. One group asked to take 60 grams of walnuts and almonds with their daily diet. No changes were made in the second group habits.
Those with a daily diet looked at an increase in their sperm, walnut and almonds. Sperm count increased by 14 percent, their capacity went up by 4 percent, movement by 6 percent, and their size by one percent.
Quality tested as well as the standards set by the World Health Organization to measure the quality of the sperm. Sperm quality is based on the male's reproductive capacity.
It is also revealed in the study that due to the intake of omega-3, fatty acids, antioxidants and B vitamins, there is increase in fertility capacity.
Walnut, almonds contain other nutritious ingredients along with these nutrients.
Dr. Albert Salasuntos, the head of this study project, states, "Evidence found in books in terms of health, it shows that healthy living and nutritious diet increase the reproductive capacity."
After study
However, after this study, researchers have a concern. Because all men in groups who participated in this study had good health and they were reproductive. Therefore, scientists are skeptical about the extent of the men who have problems with reproductive capacity.
Alan Pessie, a professor of Andrology at the University of Sheffield, who did not participate in this study, expressed his opinion about this study. He said, "These men have done some other solutions for their healthy life, the benefits mentioned in it or its benefits may not have been presumed in this study."
Dr. Virginia Bolton, who worked at Guy's Hospital in London, said that the study was interesting. But it would be daunting to say that this will increase direct breeding capacity.
Dr. Bolton says, "But we should discourage our patients from drinking alcohol and smoking until we get all these concrete answers, and should always be advised to eat such nutritious food."
