![DSC00301-01.jpeg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmeLh3iYfTnGe48vvPHEeTJiffNSi1Lc6KamdPzNYLvs7s/DSC00301-01.jpeg)

From Amarapura we continue in the direction of Irrawaddy River. Today we want to see Sagaing and Inwa. The road meanders through the village and on the way we also visit Taung Min Gyi Pagoda.

I walk across the way of a young woman holding her little child in her arm. She looks at me as if I came from another star. Although Myanmar is slowly growing up, tourism is still not in such a good shape. Good or not? I have a feeling that it is very pleasant, because people are not yet corrupted by materialism and capitalism. I can only repeat myself; the people are extremely friendly and helpful, not hostile and very interested.

We continue over the Myo Patt Road towards the river. From afar you can already see Sagaing Hill. We turn right to take the bridge over the river and cross to Sagaing on the other side. The riverbed is narrower than usual, but it is also dry season. From the bridge you have a great view of countless stupas and pagodas spread around the hill. I gave up trying to count them quite quickly.

On our program is the U Min Thonze Pagoda. To get to it you have to walk a short distance and climb a few steps. I am happy about the white marble floor, because it is much cooler than the otherwise darker floor and my feets are thankful:-). The pagoda is crescent-shaped and has 30 cave entrances. Inside the pagoda there are 45 sitting Buddha figures. We pause for a moment, take the next bench and let our eyes wander. From up there, there is a great view into the distance.

We walk further and are now at the Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda. The highlight of this pagoda is a 6m high sitting Buddha inside. From the terraces around the stupa you have a great view of the Irrawaddy River.

After a short break we leave the region around Sagaing and take the "Inwa-Bridge" to cross the Irrawaddy. The next destination is Inwa formerly Ava. Inwa is about 20 km southwest of Mandalay and is a kind of island. In the north it is surrounded by the Irrawaddy, in the east by the Myitnge and in the southwest by a kind of channel. We drive to a small jetty and board a boat that is supposed to transfer us. This is the only way to get there without having to make a huge circuit. The ticket costs only a few Kyat and so we take a seat and wait what happens. The person who had previously painted the boat then became the captain. The boat, driven by a 12 cylinder diesel engine from the past, sailed quietly and loudly towards the other side of the shore.

Arrived on the other side we get out. We don't really know where to go and walk a bit. In the immediate vicinity there are horsecarts and waving people asking us to get in. We agree and so the round trip begins. It is a kind of circuit with different stations. After the horsecart started to move, we already had a companion. A lady on a bicycle absolutely wanted to offer us her goods. She drove several kilometres on her rickety bicycle behind us. But she wasn't pushy at all. At some point we had mercy on her and released her from her arduous path. A small bell that should bring us luck changed the owner. On our circuit we visited the Mal Nu Monastery, the Nan Myint Watch Tower, a leaning tower, the Yandana Sinme Pagoda and the Bagaya Monastery. It is worth mentioning that Bagaya Monastery is completely made of wood.

It is late when we arrive at the jetty again and our friend and companion Zaw is waiting for us on the other side. While we wait for the boat, the lady from whom we bought the bell passes by and waves at us with a friendly smile. We leave the island and make our way towards Mandalay.
Today I want to enjoy the atmosphere at the U-Bein bridge again, before we take the train from Mandalay to Lashio the next day.
A wonderful day with many impressions and experiences is coming to an end. I am grateful that I was able to experience it this way.

Allah has created all beautiful men & women, and ugly ones also.If not created ugly then we had couldn't evaluate, justify, praise beautiful ones. But we shouldn't ignore or insult them. As we didn't create those so we have no authority to underestimate.
all island, hill, mountain, forest, ocean everything is made by Allah, seeing it we become fascinate, but very few we ever think who made it? Why made? He is Allah, we have to back again to Him. He is one ,He has no offspring & free from all partnership. We very few talk about our creators or hear about Him, never mind.Thank you very much for your good post.
