Pencil Drawing- A lovely Birthday gift

When I draw, I make sure that I transfer the emotions on the reference picture to the paper. This is what I studied for so long. A small mistake in areas like the mouth, teeth, wrinkles, nose and the eye can change the emotion of the subject you are drawing. So I try not to make mistakes😁 

I do get questions like why I like drawing from the mouth; it is because I smudge a lot when I draw. So when I progress from the eye down to the mouth, the outline sketch will be faint and sometimes erased and that makes me to start drawing the outline sketch of the mouth again(what I find more challenging😣).

It is the joy of an artist tho. We find pleasure in challenges. I don't know for other artists but for me, I love challenges

But anyways this is a portrait from my achives. It was a birthday gift to her from her husband. I am sorry I took less shot of the progress.
