Few minutes ago, I sent some HEARTs to goldencenser and the message received was powerful.
I am so excited with this my 30 Days Challenge of Meditation with goldencenser. It require so much discipline to embark on this challenge amd hope other parishioners will also task themselves on this too.
I sent a prayer that God will open our eyes to see exactly the worth of what Christ Jesus did for us on the Cross. Many are yet to come to realization that Christ actually does for them. We can never share in the blessings of Christ's death until we come to terms with what he did for us exactly.
This should be the yearnings of each and every one of us - pushing to know the value of Christ's suffering for our sake. Let's take a look at the scripture what God revealed to Prophet Isaiah in the 4th to 7th verses of the 53rd chapter (NIV):
> _Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted._
> _But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed._
> _We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all._
> _He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth._
If Christ had taken our pain, if he bore our grieve, if God laid out iniquities on him, how then do we live in afflictions today? The answer is simple. We have not believed absolutely that Christ Jesus went through all of that for our sake.
Without our absolute believing, we cannot pay claims of what he did. He became a curse that we may share the Blessings of Abraham (Gal 13: 3).
