#### It is important that we get to know the _telos_ of why we are expanding to Telos!

As contained in the Telos Press kit, "Telos " means _“the ultimate purpose of a thing."_ This as linked to the words of Aristotle who exampled that, _“The telos of an acorn is to become an oak tree.”_ <sup>[source](https://telosfoundation.io)</sup>

In the words of _Douglas Horn,_ Founder GoodBlock
>"I believe in the potential of EOS and of EOSIO software, and I wanted to deliver on the full promise I had originally been
excited about."

It becomes so exiting to get to know why we are where we are because it will give us direction and a sense of responsibility. Telos is visioned and believed to represent: <b>security, openness, transparency, and opportunity.</b>

From my understanding, I see that Telos was created for a purpose and this purpose is to enhance security of digital assets, opennes of the blockchain operations, transparency in governance and to create opportunity for those who wish to secure digital wealth and assets.

As it concerns in Steemchurch, @Sirknight in his reflections has said for countless times that he wishes that every Christian would grow to that level of financial freedom such that he stops to depend on the corrupt systems of the world for sustenance. He furthered that Telos Village will be a place where prosperity will originate and be distributed to Christian families of the world.

Taking to mind such words should also birth a dream and purpose in the heart of everyone who wishes to join us on Telos Village. We all have to know the telos of our being on Telos blockchain.

Certainly, the wealth that will be created is not only for our selfish consumption, rather, to bring succor and love to families of the world even while we greatly anticipate the #beatitudes token.

It is against this background that I charge us all to be consious of the wish we make as we send a gift of 0.01 Acorns to "acornwell.jc".

While setting up your account on Telos, it is pertinent you position yourself to gather Acorns. According to the Steemchurch Telos Proposal, each Steemchurch parishioner who joins us on Telos will receive daily blessings pf Acorn. That is why you are requested to add ACORN as a token to your wallet. Be reminded on how to go about that:
- Go to Tools / Airdrops Custom Tokens
- Click "Add Custom Token" _(You will have a pop-up screen, there, you have to fill the form with the following details:)_
- Contract name - "acornaccount"
- Asset name - "ACORN"
- Click "Add custom token" and "Confirm Custom Token" then go back to your wallet.


After doing that, some tiny Acorn should be credited to your wallet. To qualify for the daily Acorn blessings, we must engage the principle of giving. You have to first send a tiny 0.01 to "acornwell.jc" which is the Steemchurch wishing well. The procedure to achieve that is as follows:
- Click "Send Tokens"
- Fill in Recipient as "acornwell.jc"
- select Token as "ACORN'"
- Type in amount as "0.01"
- Make a wish in the Memo
- Confirm transaction
