I bet 100% of men would rather have a dick in their ass once than experiencing divorce rape.

I know I'll get ignored, but you don't even need the divorce part to do all of above to someone, just don't get married.   Don't do it.   I haven't had the heart to do the divorce bit yet, as I don't want to inflict further hurt.  But as with most things, there are two sides (often a lot more) to every divorce story.

Good post pal. I am mixed culturally. I said to a pastor in Canada that western people's mentality for marriage is "if it works fine, if not then split and try another one".  The room was very quiet, there were many people in that room but it was like too crazy quiet. I didn't care lol. For crying out loud, why make an empty promise. Why don't they just say let's try for 1 night stand, then move on to 1 week of sleeping together and so on LOL

Money is the biggest reason for divorce I believe. Which makes me think about things on a deeper level. A thing like money has the power or perceived power to cause division. I've had millions of money arguments with my wife but it all comes back to one thing. Our LOVE for each other. That love is more powerful than anything else in this world. 

I'm not saying that couples don't love each other because I'm sure some do. It's just that money seems to be in control of relationships most of the time instead of the two people that love each other . People have a choice to love or not to love. That word love is not one to thrown around because the truth is is that love hurts like hell.

Is the law against men, or the partner that has more stake?


There's also the prenup contract that can equalize the expectations a bit but that really puts a wedge in the romance aspect.

It's odd to have the two aspects twisted together, the contract and the romance... One can easily go away and the other binds you and doesn't let go (easily).

I like the point you are trying to make with post. But since I'm married, the damage is already done haha jk.

I got married before I read this article.  It may have changed things if I did read it in time.  I have to say that I haven't heard the spin of divorce rape until I read this article.  It's pretty scary to read about it despite the fact I've seen this issue in real life.  

I spent about 10 years in the Navy with half of that time out on sea duty.  I've seen the effects of sea life on a married.  Guys would come back from a deployment to find that their wives have moved on and wiped them of most of their money before the guy got back.  

On my end, my wife and I approached the topic of divorce on multiple occasions, but that was out of anger more than anything.  Best of luck to everyone.  Thank you for your article.
