While you are correct that Black only discusses one bit of the truth regarding our Elect, that one truth is the kernel of every other.  It is able to be a springboard from which one can consider how much more income our Elect receive from other sources than their salaries, for example, or how much dedication and concern they have for we, who they are paid to represent.

As, to BTC, I am the opposite of a maximalist.  I'll take my retirement in gold bullion plox.

Why be a maximalist?

Just get 1 BTC, or 5 LTC or 1000 Theta.

Along with the gold, silver, lead and food.

(just be sure to trade the gold for something valuable before the device is invented that will just vibrationally pull gold out of ore.)

i like that there are some 401k plans that are gold held in foreign vaults.  i don't think there are as many hoops to jump through as a self directed IRA_

I said I am the opposite of a BTC maximalist.  I have no confidence BTC can be a useful money.  When price rose, xfer fees went nuts, miners were basically extorting people for being included in blocks, the lightning network is not workable, and I could go on.  I don't trust it.

Neither do I trust paper, or foreign vaults.  If my gold is not in my possession, I don't have any gold.  I MAY have a CLAIM on some gold, but that is a horse of a different feather.  

Lastly, I have no retirement, and never will.  I will work until I die, God willing.
