A Walk to 'China Town'

Yesterday I and [@kilathecla](https://steemit.com/@kilathecla) went out to buy some baking supplies. On the way back we passed by Plaza 333, Penampang where a Bazaar for Chinese New Year is happening. Spontaneously [@kilathecla](https://steemit.com/@kilathecla) swerved to the right and in we go to look for an empty parking space and went to experience what is happening in the Bazaar. I saw lots of post and photos in the social media about this event the day before.

As we walked to the bazaar we saw the area is decorated with beautiful red lanterns making it feels like we are in China town. So, snap snap, a wefie is a must.

First thing we saw as we entered the bazaar area are these bulk of cookies nicely packed in jars.

As we walked along the bazaar street, we saw varieties of food available.

Who dare to eat this spicy and herbal Chicken Claw. I laughed when I saw this menu. Usually we called this dish "Chicken Feet' and it's cooked without that chicken nails. Its kinda scary to see that sharp claw/nails.

It's really crowded here. It's hard to walk without bumping into people.

This uncle is really talented. He drew that picture using a brush on the spot. Reminds me of the Chinese movie where they usually used that brush to write beautiful arts and wordings.

The bazaar will be on for three days from 18 to 20 January. This makes Plaza 333 the busiest place in Penampang this week.

We enjoyed our brief walk at the bazaar. Although we didn't buy much at this bazaar, its kinda satisfying just looking, experiencing and being in the crowd. Nevermind that tired feets...
