Heartfelt gifts

<p>I received the most heartfelt gifts the day before yesterday. I was handed a sturdy envelope with a bright red sticker stating, "<em><strong>DO NOT BEND</strong></em>" and was completely perplexed. I wasn't expecting any packages and was under the impression that this was indeed a surprise.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I opened it to find a beautiful card that reads:</p>

<p>I was not expecting anything like this and I felt incredibly touched. There was also another envelope with another card that says:</p>

<p>I glanced up to find @kommienezuspadt looming over me. We made eye contact and I made a poor attempt to swallow back my tears. He gave me a comforting hug and sighed, saying that I had just started to get better and now I was sad again. I wasn't crying because I wanted to, I was overcome with so many emotions after reading both cards. First- feeling blessed to be surrounded by such loving people and second- realizing that this had to be the kindest most thoughtful gift that I had ever received.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This charm was found hanging on the thin black cord which was used to wrap around both cards. I decided to turn it into a bracelet that I am now wearing. The greatest gift I've received in a very long time was meeting my friend in Zurich after many years. We had been great friends while he was in Canada struggling to obtain citizenship, but he was deported back to Albania in 2011. My wife never let me know she had planned it, so I was so surprised and overwhelmed to come up the escalator at the Zurich Bahnhof and see my beautiful friend smiling back at me after all these years. 

It's beautiful that you have that love and support in your life. Nothing lives forever, cherish your time together.

This is one of the best gifts I have ever heard of. I understand your tears!
