I tend to focus too much on characters, but I think ... forcing myself to do something different is good also. \n\nAs you notice, I still am trying to figure out spatial relationship between structures and lighting, and though I remembered to shade the upper levels, I completely forgot about the lower level's shading... XD;;;;; I will try to handle consistency with better grasps when I draw more buildings in the future :D\n\nThe trees and house, and everything is done with the same tool, different size.\n\n## As for today's tips and tricks,\nNot that I am an expert at drawing structures, and you can tell that I'm a first timer from the video, but for what's its worth, I find that it is easier to start simple. Rely on basic forms, such as squares, triangles and circle, and go from there. Maybe the teahouse isn't open yet or has closed for the day which is why there's no people XD It's kind of a cute little building :) And don't feel bad about forgetting to shade places, could happen to anyone, there have been numerous occasions where I look at a drawing and think "yep done" and then after posting find out there's a bit I forgot to shade XD Which is why I usually leave them for a day or two before posting now. And if I have to touch it then it has to cool off another day or two XD Chalk details is great for fabric and stone ;D LoL yeh unlike you I can't use them as intended, my drawing skills are not as good as yours XD And seriously the "make biggu" cracks me up every time and I don't even know why. Aaaahh you made such a nice and lovely architectural sketch, spideroo. I like looking at your sketch, they are so nice and ready to be included in some story book to accompany a fantasy story.
