Food Snaps #108

Batchoy

Hiya Everyone! Tori here! Today, I'll be showcasing a recreation of a batchoy Tagalog. Batchoy Tagalog is a filipino noodle dish which includes a pork broth, misua noodles, pork intestine strips, pork liver, pork meat, fried garlic and fried onions, and it is topped off with crushed crispy chicharron and a whole egg. Batchoy Tagalog usually uses a misua noodle which is a thin wheat noodle as opposed to utilizing thick egg noodles like in La Paz Batchoy. It is really comforting to eat this especially while you're travelling and you happen to stop by at a highway restaurant that sells batchoy or maybe even during rainy days.
