My favourite plant is the fennell or anise. I just love the smell of it. 😊

Thanks. I did finally find a reference to the Vitamin C, though no numbers. Salal also has antioxidants, flavenoids and a decent amount of fiber. Thanks for prompting me to find that last reference (now added to the article.)

One of the things I've learned is that every location has answers to every health need. Learning from the Natives is key on this continent.

It's key on every continent. Our bush foods (or bush tucker, as it is known here) are less diverse but still there are many edibles I wouldn't know about.
