Wollte einen mobilen Hotspot bei A1 einkaufen, ausverkauft nicht verfügbar 😂 Regierung hebt Netzneutralität auf, möchte Netflix & Co. drosseln. Netflix & Co. sind allerdings überlebensnotwendig in der Krise 😂

Soziale Distanzierung (Social Distancing) ist die neue Norm 😂

Leute, ich packe die Zahlen nicht mehr. Verfolge die Corona-Fälle seit Anfang Jänner. Schwanke zwischen zu Hause Totlachen und bitterem Ernst. Es gibt Horror-Meldungen, aber die Todesrate an sich dürfte relativ niedrig sein. Zahlen aus Südkorea, wo viel mehr getestet wird, weisen auf eine Todesrate Stand heute von 1% hin. Die Covid-19-Karte hat jetzt auch die roten Kreise verkleinert, die Zahlen sehen jetzt nicht mehr so dramatisch aus. Hab mich gestern zu Hause totgelacht (Sorry), dass wegen einigen 10.000 Toten global (!), der ganze Planet heruntergefahren wird. Schutzmasken werden in Östereich aus den Lagern gestohlen, Lieferungen an der deutschen Grenze über Tage aufgehalten.

Fakt ist, überlastete Gesundheitssysteme kollabieren, das ist das eigentliche Problem. Deswegen muss die Kurve abgeflacht werden, da sonst auch normale Patienten nicht mehr behandelt werden können.

Beim Testen und Messen der Todesrate gibt es in Italien und sicher auch in den meisten anderen Ländern einen großen Selection Bias.

Um in Österreich zum Beispiel überhaupt getestet zu werden, genügt nicht das Vorhandensein von Symptomen, sondern man muss einen Bezug zu China oder Italien nachweisen und überhaupt muss man auch erst einmal bei der Telefonhotline durchkommen 😂 (und anrufen)

Wenn man leichte Symptome hat, wird man gar nicht getestet. Wenn man Tests nur post-mortem durchführt, sieht es so aus als würden alle an SARS-CoV-2 sterben. In Wirklichkeit gibt es wahrscheinlich viele Fälle, die harmlos verlaufen und nicht in der Statistik aufscheinen. Gehe davon aus, dass es vielleicht 10x mehr Fälle gibt (Studie sagt 6x mehr) und die Todesrate realistisch vlt eher bei 1% oder darunter liegt und hier auch hauptsächlich Risikogruppen mit schweren Vorerkrankungen und hohem Alter (80+) trifft.

Leute, das Leben muss weitergehen, egal was passiert.

Der österreichische Staat hat gestern ein Hilfspaket von unglaublichen 38 Milliarden Euro angekündigt (könnte sogar größer ausfallen als bei der Finanzkrise 2008, Volumen war damals ca. 20 Milliarden + Zig Milliarden Haftungen) und wird fast alle heruntergefahrenen Jobs die nächsten Monate weiterbezahlen und diese mit 80% bis 90% bis zur Höchstbemessungsgrundlage (ca. 5300 Euro) kompensieren. Konsequenz: Der Euro wird nach der Krise an Wert verlieren. Euro/Dollar-Geldmenge wird stark steigen.

Das Gesundheitssystem muss hochgefahren werden, damit die Wirtschaft so schnell wie möglich hochgefahren werden kann.

Steem hat heute um mehr als 70% (!) zugelegt, morgen startet HIVE und es gibt einen Airdrop für alle Steemians. Denke, dass HIVE das neue Steem werden wird, da es bei Steem seit der feindlichen Übernahme von Steemit Inc. durch Justin Sun/Tron große Probleme gibt und JS kein Verfechter einer dezentralen Plattform ist, was für eine Blockchain allerdings essentiell ist.

Muss mich allerdings an den neuen Namen Hive erst einmal gewöhnen, finde Hive aber auch cool. Werde Steem vermissen. Was denkt ihr, was wird sich durchsetzen?

Slept better today, a little hoarse because of all the phoning (hope no corona symptom), a little stressed, otherwise ok. Netflix is, however, essential for survival in the crisis 😂

Social Distancing is the new norm now 😂

I can't handle the statistics any more. I've been following the Corona cases statistics since early January, almost every day. Cannot decide between rolling on the floor laughing and bitterness. There's been some horror stories, but the death rate itself is likely to be relatively low. Figures from South Korea, where much more testing is going on, indicate a death rate of 1% so far. The Covid-19 map has now also reduced the size of the red circles, the numbers do not look so dramatic anymore. Was rolling on the floor laughing at home yesterday (sorry) that because of some 10,000 deaths globally (!), the whole planet is shut down. Protective masks are stolen from storage in Austria, deliveries at the German border are held up for days 😂

Fact is, overburdened health systems are collapsing, that is the real problem. That is why the curve must be flattened, because otherwise even normal patients can no longer be treated.

When testing and measuring the death rate, there is a large selection bias in Italy and certainly in most other countries as well.

In order to be tested in Austria, for example, it is not sufficient to have symptoms, but one must prove a connection to China or Italy and in general one must get through the telephone hotline in the first place 😂 (and phone the hotline)

If you have mild symptoms, you will not be tested at all. If you only test post-mortem, it looks like everyone dies of SARS-CoV-2. In reality, there are probably many cases that are harmless and do not show up in the statistics. Assume that there are perhaps 10x more cases (study says 6x more) and the death rate is realistically more likely to be 1% or less therefore, and that it mainly affects risk groups with severe pre-existing conditions and old age (80+).

Life must go on, no matter what.

Yesterday the Austrian government announced an aid package of an incredible 38 billion Euros (could even be bigger than the aid during the financial crisis in 2008, volume was approx. 20 billion + tens of billions of liabilities at that time). The state is going to pay almost all the jobs that have been shut down for the next few months and compensate them with 80% to 90% up to the a maximum of approx. 5300 Euros per month. Consequence: The euro will lose a lot of value after the crisis. Euro/Dollar money supply is going to be inflated.

The health care system must be ramped up so that the economy can restart as quickly as possible.

Steem has appreciated today by more than 70% (!), tomorrow HIVE will start and there will be an Airdrop for all Steemians. Think HIVE will be the new Steem, as Steem has been in big troubles since the hostile takeover of Steemit Inc. by Justin Sun/Tron and JS is not a supporter of a decentralized platform, which is essential for a blockchain.

I'll have to get used to the new name Hive, but I think Hive is cool, too. Will miss Steem. What do you think will prevail? Steem or Hive?
