**With the big Crypto price hike, I was trying to look at the Google Trends concerning some Global CryptoExchanges. They literally went over the roof!**

### What are Google Trends?

Google Trend is an Indice based on 100, which means that 100 represents the week when most people searched for "Coinbase, Bittrex, Kraken..." on Google.

Very interesting that it is still a small (relatively) market and yet it seems to be so in your face.  Guess it depends where you focus, but just a little while ago, you would be hard pressed to find someone to talk it over with. Not anymore.  Thanks for this perspective about recent interest.

growth will increase ... in some countries, people are little aware of the crypto currency and its ability to trade and get a good profit. but the growth is going on and it can not be stopped, just as it does not stop the growth of the value of the whole of the crypto currency. the main thing at the time to drop into this fast-moving train called investment in the crypto currency

@vlemon - Very interesting analysis.  I am amazed to see that China interest shows up on almost all exchanges but Bitfinex looks predominant.  This means that any decisions about Bitcoin legality/ regulations in China will first reflect on Bitfinex probably

Not necessarily true. There are lots of Chinese based exchanges that were shutdown due to the new regulations. Those ones are most likely to be used again. 

What is interesting to note though is the highest traded tokens in China pre crackdown. Those were (off the top of my head) BTC, LTC and NEO. If China comes back into the game those are the coins to watch.

If china comes back watch out for Metaverse, Bytom, Hcash, YOYOW, NEO and I don't know if this counts as Chinese but WTC will be cheap at $50 and it's still under $10

Although the search interest will probably head down in the short term, I expect overall demand and engagement to increase in 2018. If you look at the graph we’re pushing 5x as much traffic to these sites than we did 6 months ago.
