Çete Beyi Topal Osman - Bölüm 17
***Topal Osman Yunan Gemisine El Koyuyor***
Haziran 1920'de Yunanistan'dan gelen  **Filia** isimli 750 tonluk bir gemi Batum Limanına gidecektir. Taşıdığı boş gaz yağı bidonlarını Batum'da dolduracak olan geminin kaptanı Giresun açıklarında önemli hatalar yapar. Kaptanın ilk hatası gece vaktinde Giresun'u Görele sanmasıdır. Görele'de Rus işgalinin bittiğinden habersiz kaptan, Görele'ye Yunan bandırası ile yanaşır. Mürettebat için erzak takviyesi yapmak niyeti ile limana yanaşan gemi kaptanı, dost bildiği Rus yetkililerle görüşmek de istemektedir.

Gemi limana yanaşırken Osman Ağa'nın adamlarından Kara Bilal Kaptan, mürettebatın İtalyanca ve Yunanca konuşmasından da şüphelenince hemen Osman Ağa'ya haber ulaştırır. Limana gelen Osman Ağa ve dört adamı geminin mürettebatını teslim alır ve gemiye el koyar. 

Osman Ağa daha önce böyle büyük bir gemiye sahip olmadığı için bu olaya oldukça sevinir. Filia'dan Yunan bayrağı indirilir ve Türk bayrağı asılır. Filia ismi de gemiden silinir ve gemi başka renge boyanır.

Tercüman yardımıyla ifadesi alınan kaptanın verdiği ifadeye göre:
>*'Geminin Yunanistan'ın Şire adasından geldiği, Batum'a benzin almaya gittiği...'

öğrenilir. Esir olarak alınan on iki kişilik mürettebatın dışında gemi kaptanının karısı da vardır ancak kadın Yunanistan'a gönderilir. Gemi içinde arama yapan Osman Ağa'nın ekibi, 1800 Türk Lirası, 700 Rus gümüş manadı, 600 Amerikan doları ve 400 adet boş benzin bidonu ele geçirir. Elde edilen paralar Müdafaa-yı Milliye hesabına yatırılır. Daha sonra bu paralar ile Rusya'dan silah satın alınmak üzere kullanılacaktır. Boş bidonlar ise Kuva-yı Milliye ambarına teslim edilir. El konulan gemi Milli Mücadele süresince Giresun Kaymakamlığı ve Trabzon Alay Komutanlığı tarafından kullanılır. 

İstanbul'daki Rum gazeteleri ise bu olayı **Karadeniz'de Korsanlık** başlığı altında haberleştirirler. Bu olayın vuku bulmasından bir ay kadar sonra da İstanbul'da İngiliz Yüksek Komiserliği Osman Ağa'nın Filia'ya el koymasını görüşmek üzere Rum ve Ermeni temsilcilerle toplantı yapacaktır.
