🇬🇧Should I now spend a long time with her talent, scholarships, appearances on Grandma Paula's birthday or the background music for Uncle Peter's unsuccessful reincarnation? 
Not a good idea! After all, this is about music.
Diana Krall is simply and positively preloaded with music. She can handle this strain optimally. There is no other explanation for the fact that at the age of 29 she already has the backing of Dave Grusin, who made the name Diana Krall known worldwide with his record label GRP.
The album "Only Trust Your Heart" was immediately followed by the first Grammy nomination with "All For You".
With "The Girl In The Other Room" Easy-Jazz disappeared from Diana's musical life. Reason for that, her mother's death and her love for Elvis Costello. This brilliant musician encouraged his wife to finally realize her own compositions. 
But this was not the jazz that the critics and fans of Diana Krall expected. 
It followed a retreat and a focus on other projects. 
She will not be back until 2012 with "Glad Rag Doll".
Earthy and honest jazz!
Afterwards she brings a little more mainstream into jazz with "Wallflower" and then dedicates herself completely to the American Songbook with "Turn Up The Quiet".

🇩🇪Soll ich mich jetzt lange mit ihrem Talent, Stipendien, Auftritten bein Oma Paulas Geburtstag oder der musikalischen Untermalung bei Onkel Peters misslungener Wiederbelebung beschäftigen? 
Kein guter Gedanke! Schließlich geht es hier um die Musik.
Diana Krall ist familiär schlicht und einfach musikalisch positiv vorbelastet. Mit dieser Belastung kommt sie optimal klar. Denn anders ist es nicht zu erklären, dass sie mit 29 Jahren bereits die Rückendeckung von Dave Grusin erfährt, der mit seinem Platten-Label GRP den Namen Diana Krall weltweit bekannt machte.
Nach dem Album “Only Trust Your Heart” folgte mit “All For You” sofort die erste Grammy-Nominierung.
Mit “The Girl In The Other Room” verschwand der Easy-Jazz aus Dianas musikalischen Leben. Grund dafür, der Tod ihrer Mutter und die Liebe zu Elvis Costello. Dieser geniale Musiker ermutigte seine Frau, endlich auch eigene Kompositionen zu verwirklichen. 
Doch war das nicht der Jazz, den die Kritiker und Fans von Diana Krall erwarteten. 
Es folgte ein Rückzug und Hinwendung zu anderen Projekten. 
Erst 2012 kommt sie zurück mit “Glad Rag Doll”.
Erdig und ehrlicher Jazz!
Danach bringt sie erneut mit “Wallflower” etwas mehr Mainstream in den Jazz, um sich dann mit “Turn Up The Quiet” ganz dem American Songbook zuwendet.
