It took her some time to realize where she was. It had been such a long time ago she had been here but she decided to stay. It was unclear how he survived. The cupboards turned out to be empty, he hadn't moved and except for beer bottles and basic furniture, there was no proof of being living here. Even the postman seems to forget the address. 
After she got dressed she strolled from one room to the next hoping for some sign of life, life of the past years. 

"Jim?"

She had collected the empty bottles and decided to go to the shops. She would bring life back. First to this house, next to him.
 
"You need something from the shops Jim?"

He didn't answer and she didn't expect one. It was lost and time that turned him into what was left of him. 
"Time can heal if you give it time". The words of the medicine man sounded in her head. Words spoken at the time she was broken, broken, and lost. _He doesn't need a shrink, no institution can help him if they do not believe him_, she thought.

Back home she put the flowers on the table, the kettle on, and made breakfast. They would talk, make a plan and find her. Suddenly she felt Jim was right. The girl was still alive and needed help. Help the police refused to give because they thought the child was made up.
