The most important part of creating a balanced life is having a good routine. You must find a routine that allows you to do the things that you want to do. Once you have developed a good routine then you need to be consistent. You do not have to do it all at one time, but instead you should take small steps. Do not worry about finishing each task at every day. Take baby steps so that you do not feel overwhelmed.

On a daily basis you should plan what you are going to do. For example, write a list of things you need to do. On your daily list you can write: clean the house, make a list of chores for the week, wash the dishes and set aside time to workout or exercise. You do not have to do everything at the same time or on the same day, but just do enough daily tasks so that you feel you are getting done.

A good routine is also necessary in order to help you sleep better. In the middle of the night it is easy to slip into dreamland because you are so focused on daily tasks. If you have a good routine, however, you are less likely to fall asleep. It is also a good idea to set aside some time during the day when you can go off and do something else so that you do not become too distracted by your daily activities.

If you are constantly doing things that you hate to do, you may find yourself feeling unmotivated and burnt out. Learn to set goals for yourself. When you set a goal for yourself, you have the opportunity to work towards it and fulfill it. This gives you something to look forward to each day and you are less likely to get bored with it or feel unmotivated while you are working towards it.

Finally, make sure that you do not put yourself in situations where you might be overwhelmed.
