WWW - Wow WOW Whisky!

I'm not really into #whisky but after a night out at a "off the beaten track" whisky bar - called The Single Casker, I just might change my mind. As usual, these photos were taken during my travels and we found this little place around the corner in CHIJMES, an old church/school compound in the heart of Singapore City. My local friends read about it online and the reviews were so good so we just had to go and see what the fuss was about.

As you can see from this photo - I believe this is a whisky lover's dream! From floor to ceiling, nothing but whisky from all over the world! Almost like in a library - but you know, bottles and not books...

They also had a lot of knowledge in the industry - they were able to engage my friends who drank more whisky and also myself who is sort of a first-time in establishments such as these. We were all made to feel very comfortable and cozy the whole time we spent there.

What was really impressive was access to certain stock and distilleries around the world where you could even invest in say 100 bottles or so and pre-order them before they get released. Sometimes these bottles are only produced at a rate of say 3000 - 6000 pieces per year.
