News: Steemit Is Taking Over The World, Okay, Not Yet, But It Is Substantionally Up In Traffic

Literally, only some months ago we had made our way into the top 10,000 sites in the world. A nice milestone to pass but it turns out this was only the start of the momentum. The site is now siting at, 6,131 in the entire world. That is almost a 4,000 spot increase in the matter of months. That is explosive growth. You need to think about that, Alexa is tracking every website in the world, and steemit has passed 4,000 of them and it looks like it is still going up. If this continues steemit can be a real competitor in the near future. And even today it is in the top 1,800 sites visited in the US., U.K. and South Korea.

And there is another positive number I can report. According to rank2traffic.com, steemit has 3.2 million sessions per month. That calculates to over 100,000 sessions day. You might be thinking we do not have that many daily users but this also includes traffic from people reading the articles on steemit. Remember your articles get added to Google searches so SEO helps the site grow.

The most exciting part is this is all happening while we have an on-boarding problem. After the next hardfork, named "velocity", which helps people sign-up faster, we might see even more growth.

There is still a long way to go. Reddit is number 8 in the world. But still, these numbers are all showing that steemit is heading in the right direction.

In my opinion after the next HF Steemit will get to top 5000.
Reaching top 3000 in 2 months is my prediction.

I can only say that Steem already has replaced Fakebook, as I call it and NOW is the time to buy some and  invest into Steem.
  I've met more people from around the globe and have found that we all can communicate and join together against the oppressive governments and lies from the media, talk directly to each other and learn from one another and enjoy each others cultures and life styles. its just so amazing!.

It's really good that steem is getting bigger and bigger but it must continue evolving too in order to hold the amount of new users and make the interaction and environment friendly to everyone. From what i see we may have many new members and the price is going up but i see a couple of scammers that entered here and many many people with the attitude they used to have in other social media. I hope we change that or we gonna end up like the rest of the pile of social media. 

In general great progress has be made i don't want to sound too pessimist
