### The Steemit Community Catalyst Project is a loose group of steemians who want to help create a culture of cooperation and equality at steemit. We aim to help improve the user experience by coordinating our efforts and pooling our resources. We hope to help create more dolphins on the platform through quality content, quality curation and community projects. Our current projects include:

#### The Deadpost Initiative - A weekly contest that aims to find readers and SBD rewards for undervalued posts that are past the 7 day limit.

#### #steemitzombie - A set of standards and a way of organizing reposted material that went undervalued the first time around. We hope to have a curation group in the future.

#### #nobidbot a protest against the use of bid bots on the platform. We are trying to create a community of support for users who want steemit interaction and success to be more organic.

These projects are not MY projects, I merely came up with the ideas for them. I am looking for teams to help make these ideas successful. We need people who are going to help us generate interest in the project in whatever ways we can come up with Have any ideas? Come join us in the chat. For now we'd like for more undervalued users to start using the #steemitzombies and #nobidbot tags and also find some users with $0.20+ upvotes to start using our tags to search for material worth upvoting. From there we will start talking about curation groups.

## Steemit Community Catalyst is also a place where anyone can float their ideas for new projects and find teams to work together with on such projects, that is the main purpose of Steemit Community Catalyst!

Great ideas and initiatives all around. Id love to contribute in some capacity. Bidbots are the bane of this place, but that's the free market. We need to provide an attractive alternative from the ground up.

I really think #steemitzombies is a great movement so I wanna help out in the little way I can right now. Once I get moved in and settled I'll have time to write up my own.
