Black Berries of Privet Shrub

<center>**This was the first time I found black berries and they were on my neighbor's Privet shrub.**</center>

<center>**These fast growing shrubs can grow approximately 15 feet tall with a spread of up to 8 feet.  In the late spring or early summer, white flowers bloom and when the flowers are gone, berries appear in the fall.**</center>

<center>**These berries are poisonous to humans but the birds can safely eat them.  Two months later, I was hoping to see a shrub full of berries and this was all that was left over.  The birds only left a few for me to photograph but at least they had full bellies.  Oh well, better late than never.**</center>

Your granddaughter is very adorable even though I can see her from her side!  ;D   And her dog, Charlie, is really cute!
