Question? Reward Pool Distribution? @witnesses or devs..

<p>My question:</p>
<p>Previously, the entire reward pool was distributed each day based on the Steem price and weight (stake) of each vote. &nbsp;So, if one person posted and another voted, via complicated math I don't need to understand the entire reward pool would (based on the timing of the vote) be distributed between those two people.</p>
<p>Now that the payout period is 7 days, based on a 30 day average of price... &nbsp;(knowledge check here, is that correct?) &nbsp;How does that change how the reward pool is distributed? &nbsp;I don't need the math, just a high level understanding.</p>
<p>To test my hypothesis, the reward pool would now be distributed based on the 30 day average price of steem and weight of the votes cast over the 7 days? &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>I had a hard time formulating the question. Hopefully someone will understand it.</p>
