The First Day Was Rough!

<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I made it through the first day at the new job, barely. It was a bit more involved that I thought it would be and that I was led to believe it would be. &nbsp;I came home last night sore and tired. So much so in fact that I basically showered, ate some dinner, and passed out in my chair. I only woke up to set my alarm and to crawl into my bed.</p>
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;I am still a bit sore but I feel well rested. I am excited to go see what day two has to offer. The place that I work is a brand new business they are still getting the kinks out. There are many problems to solve with machinery and things of that nature. It is comparable to stuffing giant sausages, except the sausages are filled with straw. These sausages are also twenty inches in diameter and roughly sixteen feet long. They are not terribly heavy but they are awkward. &nbsp;We coil them into a coil that is five feet in diameter and each coil is stacked on top of the next. Four layers to a bundle which are then compacted and tied. &nbsp;Two bundles are then stacked, compacted and tied. Finally they are wrapped in plastic and are ready to be shipped.</p>
