Look, I liked Horizon: Zero Dawn as much as the next person, perhaps more but this pre-order thing that is going on with Playstation right now is insane.   I really can't understand the mindset of a person that would pre-order a game nearly half a year before it is meant to be released especially when we can already kind of tell that things are not going to get released when they say that they are.

I loved *Zero Dawn*, it is one of my favorite games that has ever been made on any system and just like anyone who loves a game or a gaming franchise I am super stoked about the sequel.   But what is this BS about pre-ordering for an 18th of February 2022 release date.... and at full price?  This is just crazy world to me

They offer various incentives like you'll be able to download the game 48 hours before everyone else but come on guys, we've seen this offer before and it never works out that way.  Plus we have the supposed release date to contend with.  How on earth would they possibly know such a specific release date?   They don't know it and it is just crazy to me that people are paying money for an unproven and unfinished products at this point.  

Now I am "quite certain" that  Guerrilla Games is not going to put a dud together after they shocked the world with what is what many people consider to be one of the most innovative semi-open-world games ever made, but we have said this about tons of other studios before them.  Think Square-Enix for example... they produce mostly garbage these days yet everyone thinks it is going to be the best thing ever.   Why should we think any differently about  Guerrilla Games?

I want Forbidden West to be epic, i really do and I have high hopes that the various productions teams that are involved will make exactly that happen.   But we all have to keep in mind that we thought the same thing about *Cyberpunk* didn't we?  They can't possibly do it wrong, it's going to be amazing.... Keanu told us it would be great even though anyone who isn't a moron knowns that Keanu has less than nothing to do with the creation of the game.

People that are paying $60 right now for a game that isn't even close to completion.... well I'm sorry folks, but ya'll are friggin insane .   

I never have nor will I ever pre-order a game.  I don't care how great it is meant to be.  No way no-how.
