A traditional Brazilian food called "Tapioca".
<div class="text-justify">

This is one of the foods officially recognized by UNESCO as immaterial cultural historical patrimony of Brazil and is believed to have been discovered in Pernambuco.

Its origin is millenarian (from a people called Amerindian) and is a typical delicacy of the land that has already gained fame in much parts of the country (becoming a national success) and even out of it. Specifically in Brazil, depending on the region, there are several names for food such as sweetcorn (Midwest, Southeast and South) and gum (Northeast and North).

The composition is not mysterious, by the way, it's quite simple. It starts with manioc starch (which is extracted from the bagasse juice), which undergoes some processes to reach the final result: peeled the cassava, then it needs to be ground (until it reaches the point of a very fine mass). Then, water is mixed and then it is necessary to sieve carefully... Staying at rest until decanting.

Separated in two parts (water and manioc gum), a process called drying is initiated. Such a process can be done artificially (through the use of machines suitable for work) or in a natural way (simply through exposure to the sun).

Its preparation is extremely simple (and in general, the result is delicious!), Consisting only of putting the flour produced in a frying pan. When covering the whole bottom, the heat joins the flour and creates a base that needs to be filled so that the dish is complete.

Dividing between traditional or special, sweet or salty... They accept all kinds of fillings, just that there is a lot of creativity and harmony of flavors to create irreverent and tasty mixes.

The traditional ones are those with simple fillings (coconut being the most used ingredient), and the special ones - also known as gourmet tapiocas - have more elaborate fillings (which are usually combinations of two or more options ... such as dried meat, cheese, banana, bacon, ham, strawberry and a variety of combinations), being restricted to the criterion of the preferences of the customers that seek a differentiated flavor.

Otherwise, tapioca flour is also used as a basis for the preparation of other types of food, such as pasta, cakes, and desserts. In addition, it is an important part of many people's diet because in its raw form it contains no gluten, no lactose and has low calorie counts.

It can be consumed with the addition of beverages such as coffee, milk, yogurt or juices.

What do you think of it... **Yes** or **No**?! :)
