Thank you for your reply.
I get the distancing yourself from a certain type of behavior, that was what I was doing.
>I wouldn't agree with this one, as there are fundamental beliefs that anarchists seem to adhere to. One of those beliefs is being able to live without state interference, which is where I believe this statement has come from.
For me it is the NAP (and the SDP self defence principle). And it's not only the state interference, but all forms of tyranny like theft, bullying, murder rape fraud etc. The NAP, for me personally, is to try to stop all initiation of violence. And CP belongs there. But I need to judge it myself as to where I would draw the line if I ever was confronted with it or other things. When I was a statist I had never taken that responsibility or serious conscience thoughts on what I would do, it was always done for me. Now if I'm confronted with initiation of violence in any form, I know it's up to me and the ones around me. I try to live so to speak, as if there was no government to run too. it's like becoming an adult, where the state wants to keep you a scared child.
I get that now when I don't obey that it will be prison or be my death.
But I'm not a mental slave anymore. I obey out of fear for my life, not because I believe I owe someone or some entity (blind) obedience.
I have stopped thinking, talking and acting like a slave, so to say. It has to start somewhere. And although it is hard it's worth it.
>I think most people understand the fundamental difference between right and wrong, the reason I and many others don't commit murder or rape, is because we know it's wrong and these acts would make us feel awful. If murder was made legal tomorrow I'm fairly sure that the murder rate would not rise by that much.
Private murder would not go up much I agree
What I mean with legalizing murder is war and democide. the state (national socialism communism or collectivism) has made murder legal and millions have died because of that.
When that happens, then people who have grown up in such a cult(ure), can not see that it's wrong to bring people to a gulag/concentrationcamp/prison, and force them to work, or kill them just because they don't believe in the god called government. They would not see that as wrong because their cult(ure) leaders or religious leaders have decided it's not wrong.
It's very important to discuss right and wrong in a society and not shut up about difficult issues.
Like you said;
>All in all I think it's an interesting debate, I thoroughly disagree with Vitalik and @falkvinge for that matter, however I welcome the chance to debate such things.
I agree.
Thanks for the conversation:)
