Steemit is more like a family for Everyone, all inclusive. Strong emphasis on Individuals Writing. Steemit is where a lots of the worlds best independent journalists live. Steemit supports quality communication and discussion.
Facebook Platform perpetuates a lot of Vanity and Click Bait. Cool discussion does exist. And lots of connections made....but is designed in vanity. Not about world equality.
Most recent Upgrade to the Steemit Network is about voting equality. Steemit developers are always in the open forums encouraging discussion and participation in how the network can be best for everyone.
The more people participate in and join in to steemit, the more people are possible to quit their full time 9-5 grinds and become Journalists.

Biggest lesson I've learned recently is to stop beating myself up when I realize a mistake I am pissed about...shamed by...like an...if only I had of realized the point sooner....i totally missed the boat mentality.
