How Are Your Decisions Based on Opinion?
We hear politicians, Wall Street Journal articles and the media talk about how we can make decisions better by basing our decisions on facts. In fact, many people say that a good leader must base their decisions on factual information. But are your decisions based on opinion or based on fact?

Many times we base our decisions on our feelings, on what we read in the papers, on what other people say and on what our gut says. These are all valid choices, and they all make sense. But are they based on facts? And if so, why are they wrong?

Here's one example of a decision that some people make based on information that is inaccurate, misleading or just plain wrong. A few years back when Google was starting out, they put together a game called Google bombs. What they did was to build search engines that would rank sites based on the percentage of searches done by people who searched for certain keywords. They were ranking Google based on false information, and they were actually violating their own rules, which stated that they don't want to get into such a situation. They quickly changed the rules and now they only count genuine, natural searches to be a part of their ranking system.

Why did they do this? Because they had competitors with a natural search engine that was getting a lot of hits and they wanted Google to be competitive with them. If Google is using artificial intelligence to rank rankings, then isn't that a form of fraud? And how come everyone is having problems with Google now? The truth is that the search engines are not the source of all the information. They are merely a tool for consumers to find the information that they need.

If you are asking yourself, "are your decisions based on opinion or fact?" and you feel like you're answering yes to both questions, you may have an issue. You need to re-examine all of the information that you are considering when making your decisions. This is why it's so important to get good data and make sure that you are basing your decisions on solid, unprocessed facts. There is no reason to use your gut, your heart or your imagination when making business decisions. It is never a good idea to base a decision on anything other than data.

If you were to use your imagination, you would end up making bad decisions, because you are just basing it on what you think is best for you. It doesn't matter whether or not you are right or wrong. When you base decisions on facts, you are able to make better ones and better decisions. The truth is that when it comes to businesses, your decisions need to be based on solid, unprocessed data and opinion.

If you are trying to decide whether or not your business is fact based or opinion based, there are some things that you can do in order to help determine this. First of all, if your business consists of producing something or providing services, you should ask yourself whether or not this business is making a profit. This is important because if you are trying to sell something and you are losing money, you are not going to be very successful. The bottom line is that you need to make a profit in order to pay the bills and provide services to your customers. Many businesses will try to convince you that they are making a profit in order to sell more products. What they really mean is that they are profiting from the sale of those products, but the bottom line is that they are losing money.

Are your decisions based on fact or opinion? This is a very serious question and you need to decide what exactly your definition of fact and opinion is. If you find that you are basing most of your decisions on what other people say, you are most likely basing your decisions on opinion and this can lead to serious problems down the road. Fact-based decisions are always the better choice, but how do you know when your reasoning is based on facts?
